Stephen Dennis

Stephen was raised in northern California on a 75 acre ranch near Napa Valley. As a child he enjoyed hiking the hills behind his family’s property after school and helping his father tend their extensive vegetable garden where he learned how to properly grow produce. Fresh out of high school Stephen began working at Blackmon Mooring, a large disaster recovery and reconstruction company. As a member of the Blackmon Mooring Schematic Catastrophe (BMSCAT) response team Stephen travelled across the country to areas impacted by natural disasters. He learned how to recognize signs of damage, perform assessments, and worked with home owners in difficult circumstances.

After working with Blackmon Mooring for five years, Stephen enrolled at Lone Star College–Tomball to earn his associate degree in business. Then he returned to the BMSCAT team where he gained an extensive set of skills including large equipment operation and maintenance, skylift certification, biohazard training, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electrical, safety gear operation and maintenance, containment of hazardous materials, and PPE operation and maintenance. Stephen spent 15 years managing work crews at Blackmon Mooring, before joining Premier Group in 2015 as a Project Manager. His hands-on approach to management means his days are filled with job site logistics at various projects throughout the Chicago area.

 In his free time he loves to enjoy the great outdoors, and camps a great deal each summer. He is an amateur chef, and he loves to experiment with international flavors from around the globe. He loves driving golf balls down the range, and is a huge fan of supercars of all shapes and sorts.
